PFT has been busy this month!
We hosted an Introduction to Flyball Seminar on January 17 and had a great time introducing new people to the sport we all love! The day went well and we saw every dog improve throughout the day. We plan on hosting another seminar in the near future and already have a few people interested. After a little break over the holidays, we are back at practice and winter training is going well for our team. We are busy introducing some new training techniques with our green dogs and tweaking some areas with our experienced dogs. It is always nice to see some low numbers like 3.812 flash up this early in the year. Hopefully our dogs will continue to improve and be in top shape for the season.
Preparations are underway for our April tournament. The PFT Easter Bunny Hop will be held April 4 & 5 and makes a great destination tournament for those looking to travel outside of their Region. Having a holiday on each side of the tournament means less vacation days, for those of us who play flyball, we know how precious those vacation days are!
We are counting down the days until we hit the mats again! 72 in case anyone was wondering :)
